PRX
PRX is an advanced treatment that combines hydrogen peroxide with a high concentration of TCA to act as a biostimulator, supporting the skin’s natural production of collagen. While it contains ingredients used in peels, it does not function like a traditional chemical peel and does not cause visible peeling or extended downtime.
With proper preparation and follow-up care, this treatment involves little to no downtime and avoids many of the risks commonly associated with peels. It does not increase photosensitivity and is suitable for most skin types.
Often used as a pre-event or “red carpet” treatment, PRX helps improve skin structure, elasticity, and overall resilience. To maintain skin barrier integrity, all active ingredients such as exfoliating acids, retinol, and vitamin C should be paused one week prior to treatment, or two weeks for retinoic acid.
After application, the skin appears brighter, smoother, and more reflective, creating a glass-like finish. For optimal results, PRX is recommended in a series of four treatments, performed once a week for four weeks, followed by maintenance treatments every two months to support skin density, firmness, and elasticity.
Suitable for all skin types, this treatment delivers consistent, visible improvements. For enhanced brightening and support with hyperpigmentation, PRX-C can be incorporated. For additional hydration and plumping, a CO2 Carboxy Lift can be added.
